2020 GCEC Conference – Virtual

Thursday, October 29 to Friday, October 30, 2020

Hosted by: University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV)

Register for the virtual conference ($150): www.gcecvegas.com

Submit a nomination for GCEC Awards: globalentrepreneurshipconsortium.org/gcec-awards/ (Due August 24, 2020)

With health and safety in mind, the conference will be held virtually this year. While we will miss gathering in person, the virtual format will allow larger participation, and if you have attended in the past, we are working hard to build a virtual edition of the conference that is of the same caliber you’ve come to expect from GCEC. In addition to eliminating travel expenses, we are also reducing GCEC membership and registration fees this year to make the conference more accessible for all schools.

The Troesh Center of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at UNLV has graciously agreed to host the virtual edition of the 24th Annual Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers (GCEC) Conference.

GLOBAL CONSORTIUM OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP CENTERS (GCEC)

The GCEC is the premier academic organization addressing the emerging topics of importance to the nation’s university-based entrepreneurship programs. It has become the vehicle by which the top, established entrepreneurship programs, as well as emerging programs, can work together to share best practices, develop programs and initiatives, and collaborate and assist each other in advancing, strengthening, and celebrating the role of universities in teaching the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

The GCEC membership includes 250 university-based entrepreneurship programs ranging in age from well-established and nationally ranked to new and emerging programs. Each year a global conference is held on the campus of a GCEC member school. The 2019 GCEC Conference was hosted by Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship (SSES) on Sept. 26-28, 2019.

New for this year—monthly webinars are being offered in order to better connect GCEC members during this difficult time and to provide valuable insights outside of the annual conference. The virtual connections series covers a variety of topics for entrepreneurship center directors. Register to attend and upcoming session or watch previous webinars here.

“GCEC is the best university entrepreneurship conference anywhere in the world.”

“It’s the best conference around for entrepreneurship educators and supporters.”

“Without a doubt, the world’s leading conference for reliably elevating your entrepreneurship center to the next level.”

“The conference may just be the most well organized and most inspiring 3-day conference I ever attend.”

“GCEC is the must-attend conference designed by and for entrepreneur center professionals.”

“All around great!”

“GCEC is probably the best experience I have ever had!”

“This conference was the best combination of learning, teaching, and entertainment that I have been to in years!”
